Point Guard Insurance

La peor compania de seguros, no sirven y su gente engaña para no pagar o pagar menos. No pierdas tu tiempo y dinero #yonoquieropintgurad

N O sirven, llevo desde diciembre 4 , pidiendo q cambien el nombre del seguro, ya que compre un auto y el seguro está a nombre del dueño anterior. Me indicaron que enviara toda la información del auto, por email, que dentro de 3 o 4 días me llegaba ,la envía y todavía nada. Volví y llamé y me indicaron que me enviarían una copia por correo electrónico , le di la dirección y hoy 26 de diciembre nana de nada. Así quieren que uno los escoja a ellos , disque que están 24 / 7 atendiendo llamadas. Loca que llegue el cambio de marbete, para irme con los míos , tengo 3 carros y solo ese está con point guarda y no porque yo los escogiera.

WHY I STOPPED DOING BUSINESS WITH POINT GUARD PLUS/UNIVERSAL INSURANCE SEGURO OBLIGATORIO OF PUERTO RICO On November 3, 2015 I made a claim to Point Guard Plus an affiliate of Universal Insurance of Puerto Rico. I informed them that I had an automobile accident while entering the parking facility at Plaza Las America. I informed them that that on 10/28/2015 at approximately 11:10 AM during a torrential rain condition / heavy traffic congestion, and the parking facility undergoing construction that while attempting to navigate to the upper level parking area I was direct by security personnel to enter a narrow lane with red traffic barriers . I hesitated and was directed to proceed My vehicle hit a metal post obscured by the barrier resulting in causing substantial damage to the driver’s side of my Jeep Liberty. Due to the lunch hour heavy traffic and poor visibility I was lucky to react in time to avoid hitting the vehicle immediately in front of me. Due to the heave traffic I was unable to retrieve the fender flare and fender liner in a reusable condition. The cost of repairs to my Jeep Liberty amount to a total of $1,961.66 The Point Guard insurance claim adjuster called to inform me that my claim was denied due to the fact that I did not hit any other vehicle and that the Point Guard Policy does not cover hitting a fixed object. I told the adjuster that I had bought the Point Guard Plus policy over the internet and that I never received a policy and had never been informed of the “fixed object “exclusion. I told her that not only will I contact the Puerto Rico Insurance Commission and file a claim with DACO the consumer protection agency in Puerto Rico and that I will publish my complain on all internet media if my claim is not honored by Point Guard/ universal insurance Angel Bernard ambernard@***.com 787 501 ****
